Dermapics uses Google’s Privacy & messaging Consent Management Platform (CMP) to manage privacy choices where applicable.
Depending on your location, you may be presented with options including:

Through the consent interface you can review and manage the purposes and advertising technology providers for which consent is requested.
The CMP may also communicate your choices to Google services through Google Consent Mode.
This may include consent signals relating to:
analytics storage;
advertising storage;
advertising user data;
personalised advertising.
Google’s current CMP supports both advertising and analytics consent signals.
7. Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent after making an initial choice.
Dermapics provides a privacy/consent settings link that allows the Google consent interface to be opened again.
From there, you can review and change your previous choices.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that lawfully took place before consent was withdrawn.
Google’s CMP guidelines require visitors to be able to adjust their consent preferences after their initial decision.
8. Jetpack Stats
Dermapics currently uses Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, to understand aggregate website traffic.
Jetpack Stats may process technical information such as:
IP address;
user agent;
visiting URL;
referring URL;
timestamp;
browser language;
country code.
It can also record information such as page views, outbound link clicks, referring URLs and search terms.
Dermapics uses this information to understand general website traffic rather than to identify individual visitors.
Automattic states that Jetpack Stats logs containing visitor IP addresses and WordPress.com usernames, where available, are retained for 28 days.
The standard Jetpack Stats functionality does not normally require a visitor tracking cookie solely for counting ordinary page views. Jetpack may, however, use cookies for other enabled Jetpack features or administrative functionality.
9. Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights
Dermapics also uses Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights for website administration.
Google Search Console is used to understand how Dermapics performs in Google Search.
PageSpeed Insights is used to assess the technical performance of the website.
These tools are distinct from Google Analytics and Google AdSense.
They are not used by Dermapics as advertising cookies on your device simply because the administrator uses those tools.
10. Third-party providers
Cookies and similar technologies may be provided by third parties involved in analytics, advertising, consent management, hosting or security.
For advertising, the exact participating providers may vary.
Where Google’s CMP is used, visitors can review the relevant purposes and vendors through the Manage options section of the consent interface.
The providers available through Google’s advertising ecosystem may change over time. For that reason, the current consent interface is the appropriate place to review the applicable vendor information.
11. How long cookies remain on your device
Different cookies have different lifetimes.
Some are session cookies and disappear after you close your browser.
Others are persistent cookies and remain for a defined period unless you delete them earlier.
The duration depends on the purpose of the cookie, the service that sets it and your privacy choices.
You can view information about the relevant advertising purposes and providers through the consent interface.
You can also delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.
